What is Speed Dial?
Speed dial enables iTalkWorld users to set up and call contacts as speed dial entries.
A speed dial entry is a short Code assigned to a particular telephone number, now whenever user dials the Short Code, Actual Number stored in his control panel is automatically.
So if, for example, you assign the number 01 on the dial pad to a particular telephone number of Australia (e.g. 6124222222), instead of having to dial the whole number, you simply need press 01 on the dial pad to speed dial the number assigned to it. It is quicker and is useful for Calling through Access Numbers as well as our PC and Mobile Dialers.
Also you would no longer need to remember numbers, simply short codes is all you need to remember
How to setup Speed Dial?
Setting up Speed Dial is Quite easy
- Login to you account, using our Flash Based Portal
- Click on Speed Dial >> Add New
- Add phone number for example to Add Australia number +6124222222.
Simply add 6124222222 in Phone number, Add Nick name of person Give a speed dial code for example 01 to this number
Click on Save Button
Now whenever you Dial 01 from PC Dialer / Mobile App or Local Access Number ( when you prompted to Dial in destination number ) , it will directly connect you to 6124222222
You can add as many numbers as you want and give short codes to each number
